Description:

  • Tellescope is a profitable company focused on improving the digital patient experience in healthcare.
  • The role is fully remote, with potential in-person meetings a couple of times a year.
  • As the first full-time engineering hire, you will report to the Technical Founder, Sebastian.
  • The primary focus will be on accelerating the frontend development of the redesigned UI, with opportunities to expand into backend development.
  • Responsibilities include connecting APIs to React components, developing strong abstractions for front-end code, writing test coverage, and improving MongoDB queries.
  • You will also develop new API endpoints, assist in bug fixing, and adhere to security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and SOC2.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates should have 3-5 years of frontend development experience.
  • Experience in digital health, B2B SaaS, or regulated industries is preferred.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React Web (Hooks/Functional components), NodeJS, and React Native is necessary.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs is required.
  • Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and working with Figma is essential.
  • Experience with Storybook or similar UI testing frameworks is preferred.
  • Candidates should have experience working in early-stage startups or organizations that utilize SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of EHRs, CRM, or Digital Health infrastructure tools is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are required.
  • Candidates must comply with HIPAA-compliance requirements and be based in the U.S.
