Tellescope is a profitable company focused on improving the digital patient experience in healthcare.
The role is fully remote, with potential in-person meetings a couple of times a year.
As the first full-time engineering hire, you will report to the Technical Founder, Sebastian.
The primary focus will be on accelerating the frontend development of the redesigned UI, with opportunities to expand into backend development.
Responsibilities include connecting APIs to React components, developing strong abstractions for front-end code, writing test coverage, and improving MongoDB queries.
You will also develop new API endpoints, assist in bug fixing, and adhere to security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and SOC2.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of frontend development experience.
Experience in digital health, B2B SaaS, or regulated industries is preferred.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React Web (Hooks/Functional components), NodeJS, and React Native is necessary.
Experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs is required.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and working with Figma is essential.
Experience with Storybook or similar UI testing frameworks is preferred.
Candidates should have experience working in early-stage startups or organizations that utilize SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of EHRs, CRM, or Digital Health infrastructure tools is beneficial.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are required.
Candidates must comply with HIPAA-compliance requirements and be based in the U.S.
