The Associate Operations Engineer will assist the business in resolving product and technical issues within the Goodway organization.
Responsibilities include providing functional and technical support to coworkers, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging specialized software systems, and managing the Goodway Group technology stack.
The role involves collaborating with coworkers to analyze and resolve issues, from significant system crashes to simple user errors.
The engineer will work with fellow engineers to identify and resolve bugs and will liaise daily between the Engineering Department and the rest of the organization.
Investigating and resolving data-related issues using SQL/PostgreSQL is a key responsibility.
The engineer will coordinate across the organization to drive the resolution of large-scale outages and assist in maintaining and prioritizing the work queue and backlog in tickets and project management systems.
