Remote GoLang Engineer

Description:

• We are seeking a Go API Engineer to design and build high-performance, scalable APIs.
• The role involves working on cloud-native systems in a fast-paced environment.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust backend solutions.
• Key responsibilities include developing RESTful/gRPC APIs in Go, leveraging concurrency (goroutines/channels) and performance optimization.
• You will design modular, secure APIs with versioning, rate limiting, and error handling.
• The position requires deploying on AWS/GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• You will optimize for latency, throughput, and reliability through techniques such as caching, retries, and idempotency.
• Collaboration with product and frontend teams in an agile environment is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3–6 years of Go backend development experience.
• A strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is required.
• Experience with authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT, as well as monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, is necessary.
• Familiarity with healthtech or compliance standards (HIPAA) is considered a bonus.
