• Tomorrow.io is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their Customer Team, specifically within the Solutions Engineering (SE) Team.
• The SE Team supports weather-sensitive industries such as technology, construction, aviation, energy, outdoor entertainment, autonomous cars, and drones, enabling them to operate efficiently in relation to weather conditions.
• The Solutions Engineer will engage with prospective clients and collaborate with Tomorrow.io sales representatives, product managers, and R&D to deliver exceptional results and value.
• This role involves managing client relationships, designing solutions for business challenges, and requires strong management and people skills along with the ability to multitask effectively.
• The position supports pre- and post-sales technical efforts for government customers across the APAC region, including countries like Indonesia, India, the Philippines, and Thailand.
• Key responsibilities include demonstrating Tomorrow.io’s value to global government clients, leading the problem discovery and solution design process, writing proposals for strategic opportunities, advocating for customer needs with Product and R&D, and being an expert on Tomorrow.io's capabilities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in operational meteorology, weather forecasting, or applied climate services.
• A strong understanding of radar and satellite data interpretation, nowcasting, and the application of numerical weather prediction (NWP) outputs for decision-making is required.
• Experience in the SaaS or weather technology industry, particularly in technical roles supporting enterprise or government clients, is essential.
• Familiarity with APIs and cloud-based data integration workflows is necessary.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and explain complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
