Remote HQ -Senior Information Security & Compliance Engineer

Description:

• Join Job&Talent as a Senior Security Engineer and report directly to the Head of Security.
• Take ownership of incident management while driving the ongoing improvement of the company's security posture.
• Play a pivotal role in safeguarding Job&Talent’s systems, data, and operations.
• Foster a culture of security excellence and ensure capabilities evolve ahead of emerging threats.
• Improve and take ownership of incident management in SecOps and Threat Detection.
• Enhance detection capabilities and reduce noise for the SIEM, creating and improving playbooks and email security.
• Develop security guides and define, implement, and monitor security measures to protect Job&Talent.
• Improve security tooling, processes, and standards to provide security assurances across the business.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
• Monitor cloud security configurations using a CSPM tool for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate security into the cloud deployment environment and pipeline.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in threat analysis, SIEM alert investigation, creating detections, reducing noise, and incident management.
• Should possess curiosity and drive to solve complex puzzles.
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities and potential security risks is essential.
• Must have the ability and desire to mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge.
