Remote HTML Template Developer

Description:

• RecruitGo is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled HTML Template Developer to support our SaaS platform.
• In this role, you will be responsible for building and customizing HTML-based document templates that dynamically display customer-specific data using merge fields or placeholders.
• You will design, build, and customize HTML/CSS document templates for various use cases such as invoices, reports, and letters.
• The role involves incorporating system-generated merge fields/placeholders to support dynamic content.
• You will ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive formatting of all templates.
• Testing templates using sample data and different scenarios to validate accuracy and behavior is a key responsibility.
• You will document template structures and field mappings clearly for team reference and future maintenance.
• Collaboration with product and operations teams to understand business requirements and translate them into high-quality document outputs is essential.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS is required.
• Proven experience designing structured, professional layouts for documents is necessary.
• Familiarity with templating engines, merge fields, or dynamic placeholders is expected.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical/business specifications are crucial.
• The candidate must be comfortable working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams across functions.
