Experian's Global Security Office is seeking an Information Security Data Engineer with experience in Power Automate, SQL, and PowerBI to build end-to-end automation routines as part of its Data Fabric implementation.
The role involves developing, improving, and maintaining executive security reporting workbooks and interactive PowerBI reporting tied to important security controls.
Responsibilities include designing templates for PowerBI reporting, enhancing data feeds for better performance, and documenting procedures for updating and maintaining reporting.
Automated workflows and reporting will be made available for online and offline use as part of regular monthly forums.
The engineer will interpret reporting requests and convert them into applicable outputs.
This position is UK remote-based and reports to the Lead Security Data Engineer.
Key functions include designing, testing, and implementing critical Business Intelligence ETL solutions, analyzing security reporting within the PowerBi Environment, and writing SQL queries.
Familiarity with AWS Environments for data storage in S3, Athena, and RDS SQL is required.
The role also involves collaborating with systems analysts, engineers, and executive partners to update reporting and maintain PowerBi Automation Routines, Templates, and internal knowledgebases.
Ensuring that PowerBI and Power Automate Report Development adheres to Access Control groupings defined in Active Directory is essential.
The engineer will produce all reports to agreed standards visually and ensure the content is user-friendly for filtering and navigation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have knowledge of MS Data Fabric, Power Automate, MS Forms, PowerBI, MySQL, and AWS Environments for data storage in S3, including Athena and RDS SQL.
An understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design Power Platform Applications and reporting solutions applying business rules and data validations is necessary.
Experience in building both standalone and integrated applications, such as with Power Apps, SharePoint, SQL, and Excel, is required.
Candidates should have experience using Data Fabric, Power Automate, and PowerBI for creating and automating enterprise-scale reporting.
Proficiency in building and publishing customized interactive reports and dashboards, as well as report scheduling using MS Data Fabric and PowerQuery, is essential.
