MetroSys is seeking a skilled Information Security Engineer to support a range of InfoSec initiatives, tool maintenance, and day-to-day security operations for our enterprise client.
This role requires a versatile cybersecurity professional with hands-on experience across a variety of security tools and methodologies, with a focus on operational support and project delivery.
Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining web proxy and VPN solutions, specifically Zscaler.
The engineer will support and implement DMARC configurations to enhance email security.
They will drive vulnerability management processes, including scanning, analysis, and remediation coordination.
The role involves utilizing RHEL and Ubuntu for Linux-based security operations and system hardening.
The engineer will leverage Kusto Query Language (KQL) for analytics and threat hunting in Microsoft environments.
They will assist in penetration test remediation and address findings related to security program gaps.
The engineer will contribute to Information Security aspects of M&A activities, including risk assessment and integration planning.
Day-to-day security operations include responding to escalations related to Zscaler tickets and MDR alerts.
The engineer will triage and investigate potential phishing emails and other end-user reported threats.
They will handle general security requests, documentation, and collaboration with IT/security teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years in information security roles, ideally with enterprise environments.
Direct experience with Zscaler, Linux administration (Ubuntu/RHEL), and email security protocols (DMARC) is required.
Familiarity with penetration testing processes, remediation tracking, and vulnerability management is necessary.
Proficiency in KQL and Microsoft security tooling is a strong plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this position.
