Remote Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• The Infrastructure Engineer will support the development, deployment, and observability of the company's mainnet and internal products.
• Responsibilities include managing observability and deployments for a complex, distributed system, managing CI/CD and build pipeline infrastructure, and authoring and maintaining internal developer support tools.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Golang (Go) for backend and infrastructure tooling is required.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments is necessary.
• Experience deploying large scale workloads to one or more cloud providers is essential.
• Candidates must have experience monitoring and being on call for internal and external deployments.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and GitOps, with a preference for Terraform, is required.
• Preferred qualifications include experience working with Kubernetes or an equivalent container orchestration solution.
• Experience managing OTel, Prometheus, or other open source observability systems is preferred.
• A high degree of proficiency with Python, shell scripting, and Linux is preferred.
• Nice to have qualifications include meaningful exposure to crypto and/or machine learning.
• Experience provisioning and managing on-prem Linux servers is a plus.
• Software engineering experience beyond DevOps is also a nice to have.
