The Inside Systems Engineer at Veeam is responsible for collaborating closely with the Inside Sales department to inform, educate, and influence partners, resellers, and end users about Veeam's product offerings.
This role involves presenting Veeam messaging to various decision makers and creating content and delivering demonstrations to support this messaging.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and technically competent individual who can partner with other groups within the sales and support organization to close sales.
Responsibilities include conducting virtual customer meetings, managing POCs to technical closure, supporting lead generation activities, and collaborating with customers to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
The role also requires providing pre-sales support, training and mentoring junior staff, and acting as a point-of-reference for new hires and peers.
Requirements:
Demonstrated customer-facing technical experience is preferred, with industry-based experience in data protection technologies.
Experience in storage, network, and/or cloud-based technologies is strongly desired.
Basic experience with monitoring tools, data life-cycle management, and virtualization technologies is preferred.
The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a motivated self-starter who learns new technologies quickly.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities are required.
The candidate should have experience deploying software solutions into complex environments and an understanding of Veeam or similar technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to present to groups.
Industry-relevant professional certifications are desirable, and proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is required.
