AirGarage is seeking a versatile Installation Engineer with a background in low-voltage security systems, surveillance hardware, or access control technologies.
The role involves traveling across the country to install, test, and optimize license plate recognition (LPR) systems and occupancy camera setups at parking facilities nationwide.

The Installation Engineer will collaborate with Hardware R&D teams to influence system evolution and improve installation processes.
Responsibilities include traveling independently to installation sites, installing and configuring hardware, conducting site surveys, pulling and terminating low-voltage wiring, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate job documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in security systems, LPR, CCTV, or low-voltage hardware installation, with licensing being a plus.
Proficiency with power tools and mounting techniques is required.
Experience installing hardware in outdoor and rugged environments is necessary.
The ability to work independently and maintain professionalism on-site is essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Attention to detail and the ability to uphold high-quality standards are crucial.
Candidates should possess critical thinking and advanced troubleshooting skills.
A desire to learn and build expertise in new technical domains is important.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
Candidates must be able to lift 70 lbs, bend down, climb a ladder, and reach overhead.
