  • The role involves migrating and transforming complex legacy data pipelines to a modern custom-built cloud environment for improved scalability, maintainability, and compliance.
  • The Data Engineer will work closely with architects, DevOps, QA, and product stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions that meet unique business needs.
  • The position is remote and available for candidates located in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in data engineering and data warehouse modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in designing and building ETL for large data volumes and streaming solutions is required.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience with Snowflake and Apache Iceberg tables are necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, GCS, Airflow, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python for ETL scripting and DAG development is required.
  • Experience using dbt for data transformation and orchestration is necessary.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools, including Git, Terraform, and Serverless, is required.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields is necessary.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities are essential.
  • An upper-intermediate or higher level of English is required.
