Remote Intermediate/ Senior Full Stack Developer - Nigeria (FinTech)

Description:

• We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team in a remote, full-time position.
• The role involves architecting and building scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions across our product suite.
• You will collaborate closely with design, leadership, and product teams to drive product evolution and deliver real value to global users.
• Core tasks include designing and developing scalable back-end systems and RPC-based APIs using TypeScript and TRPC.
• You will build responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end components using React and Tailwind CSS.
• The position requires translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect UIs with a focus on usability and cross-browser compatibility.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders such as the CEO, CFO, CX Director, and Head of Product to define product requirements and feature scopes.
• The role involves owning the full development lifecycle, from planning and implementation to testing (with Jest), deployment, and iteration.
• You will ensure comprehensive automated testing and maintain high standards for performance and code quality.
• Regular code reviews and architectural discussions will be part of your responsibilities.
• You are expected to proactively contribute to improving development processes, technical documentation, and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack development is required.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern front-end tooling is essential.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM, and Redis is necessary.
• A practical understanding of building and consuming RPC-based APIs is required, with TRPC being a plus.
• Familiarity with form handling using libraries like React Hook Form and Zod for validation is expected.
• You should be comfortable working with automated testing tools such as Jest.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile team environments is required.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward ownership and delivery are essential.
