Remote Internal Developer Platform Engineer

Description:

• Intelerad is seeking a motivated and passionate Platform Engineer to join their dynamic Platform Engineering Team.
• The role involves collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues while expanding skill sets in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining the Internal Developer Platform, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• The engineer will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems.
• The position requires close collaboration with development, QA, and IT teams to drive improvements in workflows and streamline the development lifecycle.
• The goal is to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions faster and more efficiently.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
• Candidates must have experience designing and implementing an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) like Backstage, Port, Roadie, or similar.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Platform Engineering, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related role is necessary.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef is required.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, with enterprise cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is essential.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other automation languages are required.

Benefits:

• The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000/year to $110,000/year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
