Remote iOS Software Engineer

• The iOS Software Engineer will be a key member of the iOS Chapter, collaborating with other software engineers to deliver robust solutions in the smart mobility ecosystem.
• The role involves defining future connected services for one of the largest OEMs, allowing engineers to see the results of their work in real-world applications.
• Daily responsibilities include developing native iOS applications used by thousands, leveraging technical expertise throughout the app development lifecycle, and tackling complex technical problems in the electric car landscape.
• The engineer will stay updated with new technologies and methodologies, and collaborate with agile cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• A BSc. and/or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and delivering production-grade native iOS applications is necessary.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI is essential.
• Familiarity with iOS design principles, best practices, and design patterns is required.
• A good understanding of modern architectural approaches such as MVVM and MVVM-C is needed.
• Previous experience with consuming RESTful APIs and other back-end services is required.
• A deep understanding of iOS Operating Systems and their limitations across different hardware and software versions is necessary.
• Experience with unit testing is required.
• Fluency in English is a must due to the multinational nature of the company.
• Active contribution as a team player and a curiosity to learn new technologies are essential.
