  • The IT Acquisition Technical Lead will provide strategic technical leadership for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), supporting IT integration functions including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Applications, and End User support.
  • This role involves managing IT due diligence, planning, and integration of acquired companies to align technology with business goals.
  • The ideal candidate must have advanced skills in technical design, development, analysis, and project management.
  • Responsibilities include collaborating with the M&A Deal Team, Integration Management Office (IMO), Project Managers, and business stakeholders on acquisition integration project plans and status updates.
  • The candidate will gather detailed technical and business requirements through various methods such as interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
  • Risk management will be performed to identify, communicate, and mitigate acquisition IT-related risks.
  • The role requires coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of integration projects for newly acquired companies.
  • Effective coordination with various business units, technology teams, and support teams is essential to ensure that business requirements are delivered through technical solutions.
  • The candidate will conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related due diligence reviews to support IT integration planning and implementation.
  • Resource requirements will be validated, and IT integration cost estimates, budgets, and actuals will be developed.
  • The candidate will assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Planning and implementing IT infrastructure and managing office buildouts and closures will be part of the role.
  • The candidate will serve as the primary PM for all office closures, openings, moves, and consolidations.
  • The role involves working with and becoming a trusted advisor to multiple divisions within the World portfolio including Finance, Commercial, and Retail.
  • Working experience as an ITPM in the Insurance industry is a positive.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of M&A IT integration project experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure operations, including onboarding, offboarding, network, data center operations, and endpoints.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating with a team of Infrastructure Engineers is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Cloud Computing or SaaS Solutions is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Agency Management Systems is required.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to take ownership and manage technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to lead and participate in a team environment are essential.
  • The candidate must possess strong technical documentation skills.
  • Applicants must be organized and able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including end users, preferred partners, and executive management.
  • Competency with indirect leadership and managing in-house and outsourced delivery teams is required.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement is necessary.
