Remote IT & Platform Security Engineer

• The IT & Platform Security Engineer will support and secure internal systems, infrastructure, and workforce.
• Responsibilities include onboarding new team members, managing devices and access, automating workflows, and ensuring compliance and security posture.
• This role is deeply technical and requires collaboration across IT, devops, and internal security, working closely with engineering, legal, and leadership.
• Key tasks include configuring corporate devices, supporting onboarding/offboarding processes, maintaining core SaaS tools, designing access controls, and monitoring internal security events.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in IT, internal security, or devops roles.
• Proficiency with mobile device management and endpoint provisioning is required.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud IAM, especially AWS, is necessary.
• Candidates should be comfortable writing scripts for automation and using configuration management tools.
• Experience in managing access, authentication, and endpoint security across distributed teams is essential.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as SOC 2 is required, along with the ability to align practices accordingly.
• A security-minded and detail-oriented approach is necessary, with experience in incident response and system hardening.
• Proactive communication skills are essential, especially in fast-paced, remote-first environments.
