Remote Java Backend Developer

Description:

• At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality and are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join our UniQue team.
• The role involves the development and maintenance of Information Systems testing scenarios, including testing new features and non-regression testing.
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with end users, business managers, and the project team is required.
• The developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Assistance in analysis, deployment, evaluation, and reporting is part of the job.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection is essential.
• The role includes participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Writing clean, functional code for back-end and possibly front-end applications is expected.
• The developer will compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in IT and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in IT with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java 8+, Java EE, and development frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience using Oracle Database and Oracle Service Bus is required.
• Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in cloud development with AWS.
• Experience with SOAP Webservices and REST APIs is essential.
• Previous experience with tools for web services testing, such as SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, and Postman, is required.
• Experience in Kafka and JMS is necessary.
• Proven experience in OpenID Connect integration and SSO is required.
• Previous experience with blockchain technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git is necessary.
• Familiarity with Java application server WebLogic is required.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bamboo is necessary.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
• Excellent English language skills (C-level, written and spoken) are essential.
