Description:

  • We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely within the EU.
  • The successful candidate will be integrated into the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
  • Your tasks will include the development of back-end website applications and implementing core business logic.
  • You will be responsible for the creation of servers and databases for functionality, understanding and implementing security and data protection, and cross-platform optimization.
  • You will design responsive applications and develop APIs, participate in the design and creation of scalable software, and take lead on projects as needed.
  • Maintenance of code integrity and organization is essential, along with writing clean, functional code for back-end and possibly front-end applications.
  • You will compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement, as well as testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs and writing technical documentation are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 9 years is required.
  • You must have experience in back-end languages and frameworks, specifically Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Hibernate.
  • Experience in Oracle Service Bus and RDBMS database technology such as Oracle DB is necessary.
  • You should have experience in OpenID Connect integration and SSO, as well as cloud development with Amazon Web Services.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, ActiveMQ, and JMS is required.
  • You must have experience with tools for web services testing (SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, Postman) and REST, REST APIs, and SOAP services.
  • Experience with blockchain technology and identity and access management tools (Secunda and IOP IAM) is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Procurement and Grant Management business domains is required.
  • Knowledge of API GW configuration with OAuth 2, Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache, and Java application server WebLogic is necessary.
  • You should have knowledge of SSL/TLS Protocol configuration in application servers and on reverse proxy configuration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code versioning tools such as Git is required.
  • Knowledge of development, building, and deployment of microservices, as well as Continuous Integration & Deployment suites such as Bamboo, is necessary.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and front-end languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular is an asset.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases is also considered an asset.
  • An excellent command of the English language is required, and the ability to understand, speak, and write French is a plus.
