The position is for a Java Developer, which is a contract role located onsite in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities include designing technical solutions, supporting production environments, and contributing to high-impact development initiatives that improve system performance and business outcomes.
Job responsibilities involve working closely with stakeholders and team leads to design and build Java-based solutions, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining existing application functionality, drafting and reviewing technical diagrams and documentation, conducting code reviews, and sharing expertise to drive performance and efficiency improvements within the team.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java.
Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, MQ, JSON, and XML is required.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Unix Shell, or Python is necessary.
A working knowledge of SQL (DB2, Snowflake) is required.
Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, Bitbucket, and GitHub is essential.
Knowledge of workload automation tools such as Autosys and Control-M is needed.
It is a bonus if candidates have worked with Drools (DRL), JavaScript, or Angular.
Familiarity with enterprise design patterns and architecture best practices is required.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Experience in Investment Management and an understanding of the trade lifecycle is a plus.
