Description:

• The company is seeking a Mid-Level Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Reactive programming, and Embedded unit testing to join their team.
• The role involves developing global video streaming platforms that handle billions of requests and millions of users.
• This is a Full-Time position that allows for remote work.
• The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, depending on work experience and skills.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience building RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Reactive Programming (Reactor), Spring WebFlux, and Hydra Framework is necessary.
• Proficiency in unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, along with experience using static code analysis tools, is required.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Concourse, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform is essential, as well as collaboration with DevOps teams for builds and deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS or equivalent (Azure, GCP) is required.
• Candidates should be familiar with NoSQL databases and query languages.
• A good understanding of securing data in transit and at rest is expected.
• Experience with caching technologies like Redis and database technologies like MongoDB and Cassandra is preferred.
• Familiarity with observability best practices for highly scaled and microservice applications, including experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK, is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills utilizing available monitoring tools are necessary.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
