Remote Java Engineer-Autohero (f/m/x)

Description:

• AUTO1’s Java engineers play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the automotive industry by developing cutting-edge tools and applications.
• In this role, you will primarily focus on the consumer financing area of our retail website, Autohero.
• You will take ownership of our applications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and deliver exceptional value to our clients.
• As part of a remote-first team, you’ll have the opportunity to propose innovative solutions and lead impactful changes that solve both technical and business challenges.
• You will architect, develop, ship, monitor, and maintain throughout the whole software development life cycle in our service-oriented platform with currently 300+ restful microservices.
• You will use your experience, hands-on, and can-do attitude to solve complex problems.
• You will raise the bar and drive technological innovations to keep AUTO1 at the cutting edge.
• You will lead by example and mentor those around you to push boundaries and excel.
• You will collaborate with various engineering and product teams to ensure our high business standards, and take the chance to get involved with other technologies and other fields of software development.

Requirements:

• You must have 3+ years of professional experience in Java programming with Spring-based technologies.
• A good understanding of JVM is required.
• You should have strong experience in building RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and AWS services is necessary.
• Good communication skills in English are essential.
• Experience in the financing area will be a plus.
