Remote Java Engineer

Description:

• Dreamix is seeking a Java Engineer to develop high-performance applications for a client in the aviation industry.
• The role primarily focuses on backend development, with Angular experience being a plus for frontend collaboration.
• Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• The engineer will work with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• The position requires optimizing application performance, scalability, and security.
• The engineer must write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues efficiently is also part of the job.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging Java technologies and industry trends is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA is required.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs is necessary.
• Knowledge of database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks is essential.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito is required.
• Candidates should be familiar with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Angular for frontend development and full-stack development experience are considered a bonus.
