Remote Jr/Intermediate Full Stack Engineer (QA Team)

Description:

• Fiscal.ai (formerly FinChat) is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their Development team, focusing on leading the QA efforts of the Terminal product.
• The role involves improving current product offerings and enhancing company processes, documentation, and workflows to build a best-in-class product.
• The candidate will lead the newly formed QA team and have the opportunity to influence the future of the business and its products.
• This position requires a strong full-stack engineering background along with an interest in QA processes and tools.
• Key responsibilities include performing remediation on bugs/issues, taking ownership of end-to-end testing, maintaining documentation, planning and executing feature verification, and identifying and fixing defects in applications.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Fullstack Development.
• A background or interest in QA Testing is necessary.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing is required.
• Basic knowledge of Restful APIs is essential.
• Familiarity with task tracking tools, preferably Linear, is needed.
• The candidate must be able to work independently, problem-solve, and communicate effectively.
• Eagerness to work in a fast-growing startup environment is important.
• Developer-level remediation skills are required, as the role involves identifying and fixing bugs directly in the code.
