Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Software/Application Developer to support a key software development effort for a government customer.
This role is contingent upon contract award and is ideal for someone looking to grow their development skills and gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments, particularly in support of IT Service Management (ITSM) systems like ServiceNow.
Responsibilities include assisting in building and configuring basic ServiceNow components such as forms, workflows, and tables under the guidance of senior developers.
The role involves helping with resolving minor technical issues, managing incoming support requests, and making configuration updates.
Participation in meetings with stakeholders to understand system needs and document requirements for development tasks is required.
The developer will help create and maintain system documentation, user guides, and technical notes.
Contributions to the development, testing, and deployment of applications using scripting and programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar are expected.
The candidate will attend Agile meetings, support sprint activities, and learn from code reviews and team collaboration.
End-user support includes assisting in responding to user feedback and making updates to improve the functionality and user experience of applications.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.
Requirements:
An active DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position.
An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
An IAT I certification (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience with ServiceNow, is required.
The candidate must have a willingness to learn and take feedback from senior developers.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow project guidance is necessary.
