Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to play a critical role in a large software development effort for a government customer.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

The developer will help maintain and update existing software applications to improve performance and reliability.
Team collaboration is essential, as the developer will work closely with developers, testers, designers, and project leads to contribute to software features and functionality.
The position requires participation in identifying and resolving bugs and technical issues as they arise.
The developer will assist in creating and updating technical documentation to support development and maintenance efforts.
Clear communication of progress, questions, and issues with the team in both technical and non-technical terms is necessary.
This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.
Requirements:
An active DOD Secret Clearance is required for this position.
An Associates degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
IAT I certification (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) is required.
A minimum of 2 years of software development experience is required.
A foundational understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar is necessary.
Familiarity with basic software development principles, version control (e.g., Git), and debugging techniques is expected.
A willingness to learn and take feedback from more experienced developers is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
The ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow project guidance is necessary.
