Remote Junior DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Support senior engineers in building and maintaining infrastructure and automating processes.
• Assist in developing and deploying web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications using PHP and Python.
• Support the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
• Assist in setting up and managing monitoring systems like ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders for smooth integration and deployment of software updates.
• Assist in implementing security best practices, conducting security scans, and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain documentation for systems, applications, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON, with experience using Postman.
• Fluent with Excel for importing, exporting, and manipulating data.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as switches, access points, and VLANs.
• Basic experience interacting with virtual machines and ESXI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
