Humata Health is seeking an experienced and adaptable Junior IT & Security Analyst to support the development and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure and systems.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our technology meets security standards and delivers exceptional value.
As a key member of a growing company, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and contribute to multiple aspects of IT security and operations.
Responsibilities include performing IT security assessments and remediation activities, ensuring teams adhere to the organization's security policies and standards, and maintaining technical ownership of security and IT tools.
You will manage enterprise tools and solutions that support the business, handle access and accounts management, and serve as a technical escalation point for all security team alerts, incidents, and concerns.
The role involves evangelizing IT security fundamentals, tools, and processes, providing technical troubleshooting and support, and participating in documentation and adherence to security policies, standards, and operating procedures.
You will also participate as a key member in security incident response activities and daily security operational tasks, perform evaluation and recommendation of current and future technology solutions to mitigate risk to the business, and monitor and assess security industry trends.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Information Technology is required.
Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 frameworks is preferred.
A strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems is necessary.
A strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud is required.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull data and build reports are essential.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills are also required.
