The position is for a Junior Python Backend Engineer in the IoT Digital team at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary.
The team focuses on big data, data analytics, data sharing, and IoT solution implementation projects.
The role involves working directly with a customer from the energy solution industry, focusing on decarbonization of major industries in the global economy.
A key responsibility is to develop the existing analytics environment to explore, develop, and orchestrate analytics, including simple rule-based models and machine learning algorithms.
The engineer will support the analytics platform for data scientists to accelerate data science activities and abstract data extraction.
Main tasks include participating in an agile environment (SCRUM) as part of a cross-functional team, building cloud-hosted services, writing scalable and maintainable code, ensuring quality in work, collaborating with international teams, and providing technology expertise to optimize solutions and platforms.
Requirements:
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience in IT is required.
Experience with analyzing data sets and performing data analysis using Python is necessary.
Candidates must possess good English written and oral skills.
Very good problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
Good negotiation skills are required for effective internal stakeholder communications and processes.
