The Junior Software Engineer will build high-quality systems that bridge software and the physical world, working on production-grade code, infrastructure, and real-time applications.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining backend services, contributing to production codebases, supporting telemetry and OTA updates, collaborating on cloud deployment, troubleshooting real-world systems, managing system-level resources, improving system performance, participating in cross-functional testing, and writing maintainable documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Internship or hands-on project experience writing production-quality software is required.
Experience at a high-quality tech company or startup that enforces solid engineering practices is ideal.
Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C/C++, with a willingness to learn others.
Comfort in working within Linux environments is necessary, with bonus points for kernel-level or resource management exposure.
Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and containerized development is expected.
Bonus experience with IoT or edge devices, video transport/processing pipelines, networking, system-level debugging, or MLOps workflows is advantageous.
