We are looking for a talented, proactive, and eager-to-learn Junior Software Engineer with hands-on Java experience to join our team.
You will contribute to a new initiative focused on building a powerful CI/CD tool that aggregates data from internal systems and transforms it into clear, access-controlled dashboards.
This tool will offer teams and stakeholders real-time visibility into project progress and delivery status.
You will assist in developing new features and backend services that power access-controlled dashboards for different stakeholder levels.
Your responsibilities will include building integrations with multiple internal systems and data sources, writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality, and collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and support effective delivery.
You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies to contribute to planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The position is remote, and we are actively recruiting in Brazil, Argentina, or Colombia.
Requirements:
You must have 1+ years of hands-on commercial experience with Java.
A solid understanding of REST APIs and data integration concepts is required.
Familiarity with writing and maintaining unit tests is necessary.
You should have a strong interest in learning and working on integrations with third-party systems.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Kanban workflows is expected.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
You must be willing to learn, take feedback, and grow in a collaborative environment.
Openness to guidance, asking questions, and adapting to change is important.
An upper-intermediate level of English is required.
Desirable qualifications include some hands-on experience with Python, exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure), and a basic understanding of access control and authentication concepts.
