Wisedocs is seeking a Junior SRE/DevOps Engineer to help make medical document processing easier and more accessible using AI.
The role is suitable for recent graduates or those starting their careers who have coding skills and a passion for problem-solving.
The position offers hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, and incident response while learning about Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities include investigating and fixing technical issues, monitoring AWS cloud services and Kubernetes clusters, writing scripts to automate tasks, assisting with software releases, using monitoring tools for system performance, documenting problems and solutions, and collaborating with engineering, product, and customer success teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have some programming experience from school, projects, internships, or personal work.
Comfort with using the command line and basic coding/scripting is required.
An understanding of how the internet works, including HTTP and APIs, is necessary.
A willingness to learn about cloud platforms like AWS is essential.
Clear communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical individuals are required.
U.S. citizenship for 3+ years and the ability to obtain a security clearance are mandatory due to the support of a U.S. government contract.
Bonus points for experience with Docker, Kubernetes, browser developer tools, debugging web applications, or CI/CD pipelines.
