  • Responsibilities include building new features within the product team, implementing pixel-perfect designs, improving the code base through continuous refactoring, implementing unit tests, ensuring rigorous end-to-end testing of new app releases, staying updated with web development trends, and proactively communicating with team members.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be outstanding software engineers with experience in React and TypeScript, having shipped consumer-focused applications and understanding the requirements for coding robust apps.
  • Some experience in building and supporting business applications with complex workflows, such as e-commerce sites, marketplaces, SaaS, or banking products, is required.
  • Basic SQL knowledge is necessary, along with proficiency in diving into and interpreting data.
  • Candidates should possess analytical abilities to think beyond standard scenarios and ask relevant questions to ensure comprehensive coverage of all bases.
  • A high level of focus is essential, with the ability to differentiate between essentials and nice-to-haves to achieve results efficiently.
  • Self-management of time and projects is required, setting a good example for other engineers.
  • A passion for software development and a desire for continuous improvement in one's craft is expected.
  • Strong UX and product sensibility are important for this role.
  • Outstanding communication skills are necessary for collaboration with product designers to achieve the best customer outcomes.
  • A B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • Candidates must have full working rights in Australia, as sponsorship is not available for this role.
