Kiratech is seeking an L2 Cloud Native Support Engineer for its Managed Services Team.
The role involves supporting the management and evolution of Kiratech's monitoring systems, including the definition and implementation of automated event response systems.
A key part of the job will be providing second-level technical support (L2) during office hours and on-call shifts for Kiratech clients.
Responsibilities include participating in troubleshooting and incident management for Cloud Native technology environments.
The outcome of these activities will include proposing and potentially implementing optimizations to ensure continuous service improvement for clients.
Requirements:
Candidates must have Linux system skills, preferably with at least one related certification such as LPIC or RHCE.
Knowledge of at least one scripting language, particularly Python or Bash, is required.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting/incident management is necessary, ideally in a 24x7 operational environment with complex Enterprise clients.
At least 1 year of experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman is required, preferably with a related certification like CKA.
Good knowledge of major infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, is essential.
Experience with at least one of the following monitoring tools is required: Icinga, Zabbix, Grafana, SCOM, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Kafka, Cyphon, or OpenText Suite (NA, NNMi, OBM, OO, Sitescope).
Candidates must be native Italian speakers and have a good professional knowledge of English.
Preferred qualifications include certifications or demonstrable experience in Cloud Provider certifications (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), monitoring tool certifications (Icinga, Zabbix), Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, Confluent Certified Administrator for Apache Kafka, and ITIL Service Management processes.
