Description:

  • Praxent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Angular and .NET for a remote position available to candidates in Mexico, El Salvador, or Colombia.
  • The role involves enhancing the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of the sprint.
  • Responsibilities include developing software features, addressing defects and enhancement requests, and participating in Agile delivery.
  • The engineer will demonstrate competency in building user interfaces, REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
  • Daily activities include ensuring the team understands acceptance criteria, tracking progress, and finding opportunities to increase capacity and velocity.
  • The position requires collaboration with client stakeholders during sprint planning and effective communication of technical approaches.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have demonstrable experience with at least two of the following: building attractive user interfaces, building data-driven REST APIs, and administering databases/cloud/servers.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects is required, including adherence to best practices and experience with DevOps.
  • Experience in building .NET applications and expertise in designing and implementing server-side applications using ASP.NET Core and C# is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience in building interactive user interfaces using Angular.JS and integrating front-end and back-end components.
  • Experience collaborating with client stakeholders during sprint planning and documenting technical approaches is necessary.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
