Remote Lead AI Engineer: Pathfinder Agent

Description:

• In this role, you will lead the development of Pathfinder Agent, our AI agent for building integrations on top of Membrane.
• You will be responsible for product management, which includes collecting and organizing requirements from internal stakeholders.
• Your responsibilities will also encompass architecture and implementation in your area of responsibility.
• This job will provide you with challenging tasks and a lot of autonomy.
• You will receive top-of-market compensation and meaningful equity in the company.
• This role may or may not involve formal management of other engineers, but it will require coordination of multiple people working in your and adjacent areas.
• Key responsibilities include shaping, planning, and executing tasks and projects that improve Pathfinder Agent.
• You will design elegant and practical architecture in alignment with the rest of the product.
• You will work with internal and occasionally external stakeholders to inform your direction of work.
• You will ensure the quality of your area of responsibility, including documentation, test coverage, and managing technical debt.

Requirements:

• You must have practical experience building specialized AI agents from scratch.
• If you know how to build Lovable or OpenAI Agent on top of foundational models, this job is for you.
• A good understanding of software APIs and the integration ecosystem is required.
