The Lead Backend Engineer will join the Application Platform Team (APT), responsible for building cross-cutting functionality to enhance the velocity of feature teams across the engineering organization.
Responsibilities include developing core product features in ETL and GraphQL, designing and implementing backend APIs, building and maintaining ETL pipelines, and collaborating with frontend team members to improve user experience.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, C++, or TypeScript.
Experience in building applications on cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include expert proficiency in SQL, experience with various database architectures (relational and graph), building GraphQL backends, managing production infrastructure, and developing platform capabilities for internal teams.
