The Lead Data Management Specialist will support all processes within the Data Management department as a Subject Matter Expert.
This role will serve as the primary contact for team members and Data Furnishers, supporting operational processes related to data furnished to Experian.
The specialist will help implement several data integrity initiatives by monitoring and analyzing consumer data and participating in project work associated with those programs.
Responsibilities include managing operational processes such as file receipt, ingestion, and data validation to ensure data integrity.
The specialist will provide technical subject matter expertise to the data management team and other groups within Experian.
Fielding support calls directly from data furnishers and other internal personnel is also part of the role.
The specialist will lead several data integrity monitoring programs and develop plans for project implementations.
Analyzing trends, patterns, and inconsistencies in data to draw logical conclusions for improvement is expected.
The role involves leading conversations, both internally and externally, to address areas of opportunity as observed in data or processes.
Engaging with data furnishers, both in writing and verbally, while validating submitted data or completing project work is required.
Mastery of industry regulations, standards, and business rules, including data validation and accuracy checks, is essential.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in client support is required.
Basic agile project management experience in a SCRUM environment is necessary.
Effective communication skills in both written and oral presentations are essential.
Knowledge of credit bureau data and the financial industry is required.
The candidate should be comfortable taking initiative and eager to take on challenging projects.
Strong analytical skills are a must.
