Two Six Technologies is seeking a Lead Data Pipeline Engineer to build, deploy, and implement innovative products that address complex challenges.
The role involves using engineering skills and experience with machine learning (ML) and large language models (LLMs) to assist policy makers and corporate leaders in navigating complex information.
The engineer will work with product engineering teams, data scientists, devops, and architects to integrate data science into products.
Responsibilities include developing high-volume data pipelines enriched with ML and NLP, integrating data science models into applications, and building user-facing applications utilizing generative AI and LLMs.
The position requires operating in a collaborative, agile environment, creating proofs-of-concept, and ensuring security best practices throughout the software development process.
The engineer will manage a small team of data pipeline engineers while also being hands-on in engineering tasks.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience building scalable server-side applications and data pipelines using Python.
Experience with ML, LLMs, and collaboration with data science teams is required.
Proficiency in using Elastic or similar data stores, as well as SQL database technologies, ideally Postgres, is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure is essential.
Candidates should have experience in the design, development, testing, and support of scalable, data-driven applications deployed to production SaaS environments.
Experience working independently and as part of an Agile team is required.
Optional skills include prior experience as a platform engineer or ML Ops engineer and experience with processing, storing, and querying data in multiple natural languages.
Certifications in Elastic and AWS are considered a plus.

The projected salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $200,000 USD, depending on various factors such as education, experience, and geographic location.
