  • Key responsibilities include accelerating and improving the network design process, from raw data to model readiness for tools like Coupa or Llamasoft.
  • You will be responsible for obtaining data and correcting outliers in capacity, throughputs, and transportation costs.
  • The role involves creating models for auto-completion of missing data and new routes.
  • You will automate the creation of common scenarios, such as optimizing warehouse locations dynamically.
  • Connecting multiple isolated models using mathematical optimization models (mixed-integer linear programming) is a core task.
  • The position requires combining data science with supply chain knowledge to adapt to available data.
  • You will develop heuristics to speed up NP-hard network design models that currently take days to run.
  • The goal is to automate the running of hundreds of models in the background for potential improvements without manual intervention.
  • In supply chain analysis, you will normalize historical data to accurately reflect the supply chain and remove anomalies.
  • You will conduct root cause analysis to identify deviations from the planned supply chain.
  • Analyzing bottlenecks and finding unexpected correlations in the supply chain will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will identify trends operating outside normal parameters for any KPI or action in the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning is necessary.
  • You must have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Python and PySpark.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, including engagement with business units and vendors.
  • Expertise in developing supervised and unsupervised ML models is required, with knowledge of time series and demand forecasting being a plus.
  • Experience in the supply chain industry is a must-have.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL for data querying and statistical modeling is required.
