The role involves creating models for auto-completion of missing data and new routes, as well as automating the creation of common scenarios, such as optimizing warehouse locations.
You will connect multiple isolated models, focusing on mathematical optimization models (mixed-integer linear programming).
The position requires combining data science with supply chain knowledge to adapt to available data.
You will develop heuristics to accelerate NP-hard network design models that currently take days to run, aiming to automate the running of hundreds of models in the background.
Supply chain analysis responsibilities include normalizing historical data to reflect the supply chain accurately, identifying deviations from the plan, analyzing bottlenecks, and finding general insights that analysts might overlook.
You will also identify trends where operations are outside of normal parameters for any KPI or action in the supply chain.
