The Lead DevOps Engineer (Developer Productivity) will focus on monitoring and deploying CI/CD metrics to enhance developer productivity.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker-in-Docker, and Kubernetes.
The role involves developing internal tools to boost developer efficiency and optimizing build performance.
The engineer will monitor key developer productivity KPIs and act as a bridge between platform and engineering teams.
The position also requires integrating quality gates and vulnerability scanning into pipelines and managing developer productivity tools in Kubernetes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Developer Productivity, DevOps, or Tooling Engineering roles.
A deep understanding of Jenkins pipelines (Groovy) and GitHub Actions or equivalent systems is required.
Proficiency in Groovy for Jenkins pipelines is necessary, and familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
Strong experience with Docker, Docker-in-Docker, and Kubernetes is essential.
Experience in tracking and reporting developer productivity metrics, including build time and DORA metrics, is required.
Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Jfrog Artifactory/Artifact Registry, and their integration into CI/CD workflows is needed.
Candidates should be comfortable with scripting for automation, preferably in Bash or Python.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with developers, QA, and platform teams are essential.
