The company is seeking a highly skilled Lead Front-End Engineer to lead the redesign, rebrand, and modernization of a major digital gift card platform.
This role focuses on elevating user experience through mobile-first optimization, performance enhancements, and embedded promotional tools.
Responsibilities include leading the front-end redesign, optimizing mobile usability, integrating gift cards within a fintech ecosystem, and improving customer experience.
The engineer will develop reusable UI components using Storybook, implement CMS integrations with Contentful, ensure accessibility compliance, and write unit tests.
Collaboration with product, design, and backend teams across global regions is essential, along with effective communication with client stakeholders.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
Expert-level proficiency in React & Redux, Storybook, Contentful or similar headless CMS platforms, Tailwind CSS, and React Testing Library / Jest is required.
A strong command of accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices is necessary.
Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Experience working with distributed or remote teams is required.
