Remote Lead Fullstack Engineer for Ezra Climate

Description:

• Ezra Climate is seeking a Lead Fullstack Engineer to join their core product team.
• The company is a fast-growing US-based startup focused on simplifying and accelerating climate financing.
• The role involves shaping the technical foundation of the platform and owning full product features from backend to frontend.
• The engineer will collaborate closely with the founding team.
• Candidates must be located in Belarus or relocated to the LATAM region and work US time zone hours (approximately 18:00 to 02:00 Minsk time).
• Responsibilities include backend and API development, distributed systems and workflows, AI-native frontend development, testing, infrastructure and observability, security and compliance, and technical leadership.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 7+ years of fullstack engineering experience, preferably in startup or fast-paced environments.
• Proven expertise in Python, FastAPI, React/Next.js, TypeScript, and scalable architectures is required.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, API design, and real-time web interfaces is essential.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Temporal, and cloud platforms is necessary.
• A strong focus on quality, observability, and security in production systems is expected.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to document technical decisions clearly are required.
• Prior experience working in cross-functional, globally distributed teams is a plus.
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English at an upper-intermediate level at least.
