The Lead Instructor: Cloud Support Specialist will deliver high-quality, live, virtual instruction and collaborate with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes.
This role involves conducting large synchronous online lectures on technical content for diverse Fellows, ranging from 100 to 8,000+ participants.
Responsibilities include preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, managing class time Q&A, and monitoring chat flow and engagement dynamics.
Collaboration with operations personnel is essential to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
Flexibility is required to contribute to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules may vary.
Lead Instructors are expected to maintain professionalism, prepare diligently for lectures, and foster a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6-8 years of professional work experience in Cloud Support, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Network Administration, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience is required.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Linux+, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are necessary.
Candidates must be an Amazon Authorized Instructor (AAI) and have teaching experience with adult learners.
A desire to support students in expanding their careers and transitioning into technical roles is essential.
Fluency in English with professional verbal and writing skills is required.
