The Lead Instructor: Cybersecurity position is a part-time, contract opportunity, aimed at adding instructors to the Expert Network for upcoming projects.
Lead Instructors are responsible for delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and ensuring exceptional learning outcomes.
The role involves conducting large synchronous online lectures for diverse learners, preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, and collaborating with operations personnel.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in the Cybersecurity field or a related field.
A degree in a technical field is required.
CompTIA Security+ certification or related certifications (e.g., CISM) is necessary.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment, is essential.
Experience in training learners on foundational technical skillsets is required.
Candidates should be excellent educators with a passion for teaching and helping others.
Outstanding team and people management skills are necessary.
Experience working with the Unix terminal, especially with cybersecurity-related applications, is required.
Familiarity with topics such as Networking, Kali Linux, Endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ Certification training, and Triage is essential.
