The Lead Instructor: Software Tester will deliver high-quality, live, virtual instruction and collaborate with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes.
This role involves conducting large synchronous online lectures on technical content for diverse Fellows, ranging from 100 to 8,000+ participants.
Responsibilities include preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, managing class time Q&A, and monitoring engagement dynamics.
Instructors will collaborate closely with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and assist in lesson design and improvement.
Expectations include professionalism, thorough lecture preparation, dynamic online presence, effective communication, maintaining a positive attitude, and contributing to course improvement.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in software development, test automation, SDET, or QA roles.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment, is necessary.
Experience in training learners on foundational technical skillsets is essential.
Candidates should be excellent educators with a passion for teaching and helping others.
Outstanding team and people management skills are required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript, with hands-on experience in building test automation frameworks and scripts is needed.
A strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and testing practices (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, API testing) is required.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar is necessary.
Certification in SDET or related areas (e.g., ISTQB, Agile Testing, AWS Certified Developer) is preferred.
