Remote Lead ML Engineer

• The Lead Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models and solutions for the wellness platform.
• This role involves collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to leverage data-driven insights for product innovation and efficiency.
• Responsibilities include leading the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing the entire machine learning pipeline, mentoring junior engineers, staying updated on trends, communicating findings to stakeholders, and ensuring best practices in code quality.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is required; a PhD is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning or applied AI, including deploying models to production, is necessary.
• Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn is required.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with MLOps/cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is essential.
• A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and applied statistics is needed.
• A proven track record of leading machine learning projects end-to-end is required.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring engineers and scientists are necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role.
