The Lead Platform Engineer will take ownership of the AWS cloud infrastructure and promote DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities include designing, building, automating, and maintaining critical platform services to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
The role requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD (Argocd), monitoring (Datadog), and code quality (Sonarqube).
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles, with significant hands-on experience with AWS.
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform, is required.
Experience in designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Argocd, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is necessary.
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus) is expected.
Expertise with monitoring and observability tools, preferably Datadog, is essential.
Experience with code quality tools like Sonarqube is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash is necessary.
A deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, etc.) and cloud architecture best practices is required.
Candidates should have a solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices in a cloud environment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with development teams, are required.
