MCA Connect is seeking a Lead Pre-Sales Solution Architect focused on Data, Analytics, AI, and Automation with a Microsoft emphasis.
This position is remote (US-based) with approximately 20% travel required.
The role involves driving the expansion of the Data, Analytics, AI, and Automation practice and shaping the go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities include guiding prospective clients through their modernization and digital transformation journey, architecting modern data platforms, and ensuring successful handoff to delivery teams.
The architect will lead strategic discovery sessions with executives to understand business goals and challenges, define solution architectures, and present proposals for complex projects.
The role requires collaboration with sales, delivery, and Microsoft teams to develop business cases and represent MCA Connect in client presentations and industry events.
The architect will design end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies and oversee solution quality from ideation to delivery.
The position also involves supporting sales consultants, contributing to thought leadership, and exploring new Azure capabilities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, and solution architecture roles.
Proven success in a pre-sales or client-facing architecture role is required.
A deep understanding of Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks/Spark, Fabric, and Power BI is essential.
Experience in aligning modern data architectures to business strategies in the manufacturing or industrial sector is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in scoping, pricing, and estimating delivery efforts in early-stage client engagements.
Strong communication skills are required to build trust with both technical and business stakeholders.
Knowledge of Microsoft D365 and its integration into enterprise architectures is a plus.
